This may seem like a surprising recipe, but there are different versions of raw mango biryani floating around. The tanginess of the mangoes is a good substitute for yoghurt and lime used in normal Biryani.

2 cup DUAL TASTE Biryani Basmati Rice

1 Cup Green Mango

A pinch of saffron soaked in a milk

4 teaspoon Ghee

0.25 Cup Mint Leaves

Salt to taste

Green Chillies as required

1 teaspoon Cumin Seeds

0.25 teaspoon Fennel Seeds

1 tablespoon Coriander Seeds

3 tablespoon Poppy Seeds
Recipes Description
Step 1 : Firstly, grind the masala in a fine paste and keep aside.
Step 2 : Heat ghee in a deep pan, add rice and fry for 2 minutes.
Step 3 : Add mangoes, salt and stir.
Step 4 : Then add 2.5 cups water and cook the rice in a low flame till it is half cooked.
Step 5 : Now mix the paste with rice. Add mint leaves and saffron.
Step 6 : Add some more water if required, and cover the lid.
Step 7 : Serve with raita.
