MITE

Dust Mites are microscopic creatures that live in your bedding by the millions and cause allergies. Dust mites do not bite in the sense that they do not inflict a wound to obtain food. Dust mites feed exclusively on the dead skin cells that we shed every day in the form of dandruff and other flakes and particles. They are essentially scavengers, not predators or parasites.

Spider mites are common pest problems on many plants around yards and gardens in Colorado. Injury is caused as they feed, bruising the cells with their small, whiplike mouthparts and ingesting the sap. Damaged areas typically appear marked with many small, light flecks, giving the plant a somewhat speckled appearance.Following severe infestations, leaves become discolored, producing an unthrifty gray or bronze look to the plant. Leaves and needles may ultimately become scorched and drop prem

The flour mites usually infest flour, muesli and other dry vegetable foods. The affected products seem to be covered by a coat of light dust, crumble, smell sweet and taste bitter. For instance if a cake doesn't rise, the cause can be mites in the flour used. Eating infested foodstuffs can also seriously harm your health.
